Jersey City Spotlight: Lauren Gill

This week we are interviewing Jersey City resident and influencer, Lauren Gill! Lauren is a NYC-based lifestyle creator who likes to treat everyday like a party. She features fashion, food, beauty and lifestyle content to inspire her audience to live their best lives! Lauren is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, and now lives in Jersey City with her fiancé and new goldendoodle puppy. She also works as a social media and influencer marketing specialist for brands. 

Hi! My name is Lauren and I’m a lifestyle creator based in Jersey City, NJ. I also work full time as a social media and influencer manager for a fashion brand. I’ve been in NYC/NJ for 4 years now, and live with my fiancé and our new mini goldendoodle pup! 

TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS! HOW DID IT START? BIGGEST CHALLENGE? FAVORITE PART? WHERE DO YOU SEE IT GOING?

I started my blog during college as a creative outlet to share my love of fashion, decor, beauty, travel and all the fun things! I had no idea that content creation would get as big as it has, and really just did it (and still) do it for fun. My favorite part is getting to meet the most interesting and creative people and try out local businesses to share with my audience! 

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST SOURCE OF INSPIRATION?

I get a lot of inspiration from traveling, even if it’s somewhere close by. I love researching on Pinterest, IG, and travel sites to plan out itineraries for trips. 

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?

I love trying new restaurants, going to the beach (we go to Avalon), rooftop happy hours, playing with my pup and taking workout classes. Also, watching Netflix of course.
